THE BEL-CATS Who are THE BEL-CATS? It's us, of course! OK, we know you want a little more info than that. So, here are some mini bios about us. Steve Doiel is known for his skills as a vocalist and for the fabulous Gretsch White Falcon. He has played with numerous groups like The Rodeo Cats, Feather River, The Stateline Playboys, Harmonious Wail, Willow Wind, and Swing Crew. Steve has been a featured performer for 15 seasons at Noah's Ark Waterpark in the Wisconsin Dells. Teresa is a vocalist and bass player for THE BEL-CATS. She has played with Butch and the Sundance Kids, Nearly Famous, and The Maxxtones. Teresa has played 4 seasons at Noah's Ark with Steve. Jim Butler is a vocalist and lead guitarist. He has played with the Dynamic Subarashii and The Hitmen. Jim has recorded several CD's and won On The Waterfront's award for new group. Billy Braatz began playing drums at the age of 10. He has played with local Wisconsin bands Anthem, Tug Mumbo from 1979-1980. He moved to Atlanta, GA in 1985 where he played and recorded throughout the southeast with Jump the Wall, The Lift, The New Romeos, and Don Conoscenti until returning to the Midwest in 1993. Some of his most recent projects have been with Somo Mojo, The Boondoggles, and Don Conoscenti. |
